Block 1: University and RTO support for spin-offs

• Spin-off support structures and technology transfer at TalTech
• Support mechanisms and collaboration opportunities at Metrosert / KIIP

Intermission: Networking break

Block 2: Entrepreneurial experience

• First-hand perspectives from founders who transitioned from academia to industry
• Key challenges, lessons learned, and success factors

Intermission: startup ideas from students in audience (30-45 min)

• what ideas are there - do they classify as deep tech?
• what keeps them from being realized?
• what could be done to help?

Block 3: SYP panel discussion - Aligning academic and industrial careers

• How to balance or transition between academic research and entrepreneurship
• Institutional, professional, and personal considerations
• Hybrid funding schemes & new funding model more focused on entrepreneurship

Conclusion
